Penyediaan Tempat Sampah Umum Guna Mengurangi Sampah Berserakan

Abstract

This article discusses the role of students and the community in efforts to preserve the environment in Srikandi village, with a focus on waste management. The aim of this research is to identify the contribution of students and the community in overcoming environmental problems, analyze the steps used in implementing environmental conservation work programs, and evaluate the impact of these activities on environmental conditions and local community awareness. The service method used in writing this article is in accordance with the steps of the Religious Moderation Sisdamas Regular KKN service which combines the social learning process for KKN students, community service, and conducting social research through the stages of the empowerment cycle. The research results show that collaboration between students and the community is able to produce positive changes, such as increasing environmental cleanliness, public awareness, and increasing the accessibility of public facilities. However, challenges such as complex coordination and ongoing maintenance still need to be overcome to maintain the sustainability of environmental conservation efforts in the future.
