Pelatihan Membaca Al-Qur’an Metode Iqro di Masjid Al-Muttaqin Kecamatan Cigedug Garut

Abstract

In this community service program, the main problem found is the lack of student's ability to read the holy Qur'an and learning to read the Qur'an using the Iqro' method at the Al-Muttaqin Mosque, Cigedug District, Garut Regency which is less effective and efficient. The purpose of this service is to provide training to read the Qur'an using the Iqro' method in order to improve the student's reading skills of the Qur'an at the Al-Muttaqin Mosque and to develop an effective and efficient mechanism for learning to read the Qur'an using the Iqro method. The method used in this research is the method of observation and documentation. The results of the service showed an increase in the ability of students to read the holy Qur'an using the Iqro method. In addition, an effective and efficient Iqro 'method of learning is also created to be applied in the al-muttaqin mosque with a group learning system. The study group was divided into 12 groups consisting of 6 male groups and 6 female groups. Each group is adjusted to the ability to read from iqro' 1 to iqro' 6. Each group has 1 mentor who will guide students to learn to read the holy Qur'an using the iqro' method
