This study aims to analyze the disparity in benefit distribution in the implementation of the Tol Getaci resettlement project in Desa Ciluluk, with the results intended for advocacy purposes. The background of this research focuses on the inequality in benefit distribution due to differences in land prices between Desa Ciluluk and the customary land in Desa Mekarlaksana. Land in Desa Ciluluk was negotiated at below-market rates per square meter, while land in Desa Mekarlaksana was negotiated at higher rates per square meter. Additionally, disparities in benefit distribution are evident in the slower disbursement of compensation funds in Desa Ciluluk, leading to perceptions of injustice among the community regarding the Tol Getaci project. The research employs a community empowerment approach, using data collection techniques such as community discussions and interviews. The findings indicate a perceived disparity in benefit distribution among the residents of Desa Ciluluk. The conclusion is that a lack of transparency and imbalance in the resettlement process exacerbates the community's dissatisfaction with the Tol Getaci project. The implications of this research underscore the importance of transparency in land pricing and the expeditious disbursement of compensation funds. Furthermore, there is a need for an independent mediation team and socioeconomic empowerment programs for the Desa Ciluluk community post-resettlement to prevent similar injustices in the future.
