REVITALISASI TRADISI BABARITAN DALAM BINGKAI DAKWAH KEARIFAN LOKAL MASYARAKAT DESA PAMANUKAN

Abstract

Pamukanukan Village is one of the villages in the Kalianukan subdistrict, Subang Regency, West Java. One of the cultures in Indonesia, especially in the Pamukanukan village, which is currently still developing is Earth Alms or Natural Alms (Babaritan). Sedekah Bumi is a traditional ceremony originating from Java which is synonymous with agriculture and is carried out from generation to generation, usually by people who work as farmers and fishermen. This event symbolizes humanity's gratitude to God Almighty who has provided abundant sustenance in the form of agricultural products such as harvests, livestock products and plantation products. The revitalization of the Babaritan Tradition in the Frame of Da'wah of Local Wisdom of theCommunity of the Uncleanukan Subang Village aims to keep it alive. returning and preserving culture and not forgetting the teachings of our ancestors and also fostering a sense of solidarity. This research method uses a qualitative method which focuses on observation and action. With the revitalization or revival of the babaritan tradition, the community becomes more respectful of each other and helps others.
