Abstract

There is a condition where the lack of innovation in learning makes children become bored in learning. So if this condition is allowed to drag on, it will have a bad impact. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of applying various learning methods on increasing students' learning motivation at TPQ Miftahussalam Weninggalih Village. This type of research is experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling was carried out using the cluster random sampling technique. The population in this study was all TPQ Miftahussalam students, totaling 18 people. The instruments used are tests in the form of pre-test and post-test. The results of the pretest homogeneity test showed the initial ability of the experimental class and homogeneous control, so that the effect of the treatment was the result of the posttest. It is proven from the results of descriptive statistical calculations that there is an increase that occurs from (5.888) > (8.3889). The results of the analysis show that p-value = <0.001, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The interpretation of the results of hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant increase in students' learning motivation after applying various learning methods. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying various learning methods on a significant increase in students' learning motivation at TPQ Miftahussalam
