33 Meningkatkan Minat Masyarakat untuk Membangun Kesadaran mengenai Pentingnya Penimbangan dan Imunisasi pada Balita di Desa Jagabaya

Abstract

Currently, we are facing increasing economic globalization that demands global competitiveness. Therefore, society must prepare Indonesia as best as possible with high-quality individuals for the next generation to ensure it is well-planned, integrated, and sustainable. This action must be taken in a timely manner, starting as early as when the fetus is in the womb, through infancy, toddlerhood, adolescence, adulthood, and even into old age. In carrying out this Community Service Program (KKN), we implement the recommended implementation methods as outlined in the 2023 KKN guidelines, specifically in the Sisdamas KKN section prepared by LP2M UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This spans from cycle one to cycle four. One of the issues addressed in this article is the awareness of the importance of vaccines and immunization at each stage of a child's development. Our group conducted the KKN activities in the village of Jagabaya, Cimaung District. Several strategies were employed to address the issue of community awareness, including providing explanations to mothers about the importance of immunization and disseminating easily accessible information to the community.
