Meningkatkan Keamanan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Melalui Produktivitas Masyarakat dengan Program Jaga Pamoyanan di Desa Panenjoan

Abstract

This article discusses how to increase the efficacy of the Siskamling (neighborhood security system), a Community Service Program (KKN) was implemented in Kampung Pamoyanan, Desa Panenjoan, Cicalengka, Kabupaten Bandung. "Jaga Pamoyanan," the program's name, featured exercises that included enhancing community productivity, creating workgroups, and updatingthe security post's aesthetics. The findings demonstrated that following the renovation of the security post and the training sessions, Siskamling officers' zeal and efficacy significantly increased. The security post's visual improvement was a major factor in inspiring personnel to be more proactive and diligent in preserving neighborhood security. The program also made the people feel proud of their community. The "Jaga Pamoyanan" program's holistic approach—which integrates physical, social, and psychological elements—proved successful in bringing about long-lasting, beneficial improvements. To maximize the benefits of community empowerment, this essay suggests that similar initiatives in the future take aesthetics and community involvement into account.
