Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic which has become a global pandemic is currently one of the obstacles for humans, including children who have difficulty with online learning, because not all children can adapt optimally. This Sisdamas KKN-DR activity aims to overcome the impact of Covid-19 on the education sector in Padahanten Village. Based on the survey conducted, there are several problems that occur including the decline in student interest in learning. the solution to overcome these problems is to conduct tutoring through the PADJAR program with the peer tutor method. The KKN method is implemented through three cycles of social reflection, participatory planning, and implementation-evaluation. The results of the study show that tutoring activities through the PADJAR program carried out in Padahanten Village are one of the right solutions to overcome the urgency of the education sector in Padahanten Village. In addition, the PADJAR program has also proven effective in increasing student interest in learning. This can be seen from the overall elementary school students who took part in the PADJAR program in the very good category. The percentage of learning interest in each indicator also increased from before it was implemented to after the PADJAR program was implemented.
