Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of games and creative activities in influencing children's development before and during the Kindergarten period at Al-Muhajirin Kindergarten, to be precise, in Kota Baru Arjasari RT.01, RW.13 Arjasari Village, Arjasari District, District of Arjasari, Bandung. This research explores how play and creative activities can enhance children's motor, social, and cognitive skills in their early stages of development. Through a literature review and empirical research, this article highlights the contribution of play and creative activity in broadening children's horizons, improving their communication skills, and helping them develop problem solving and creativity. The practical implications of these findings confirm that a directed play approach and creative stimulation provided before and during kindergarten have a significant positive impact on children's holistic development. The aim of this research is to explore, understand, and analyze and provide parents, educators, and education practitioners with a better understanding of the importance of supporting play and creative activities in helping children achieve their optimal developmental potential.
