Implementasi Metode Sosialisasi dalam Meningkatkan Minat Remaja Desa Alamendah Untuk Menempuh Pendidikan ke Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

This background stems from the problems that occurred in Mekarbaru Village, Alamendah Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, especially in the adolescent age group, most of which can even be said almost 70% do not continue their education to college. The purpose of this service is to educate community members, especially teenagers about the importance of taking the highest possible education because as the next generation of the nation it is very important to have broad insight and knowledge for the progress of this nation in the future. And the school is the right institution in developing the potential that exists in a person. The method used during the service is a qualitative method with a focus on descriptive methods where all types of data are obtained by sampling, the data is collected by means of interviews with residents, and observation. The event was held with various levels of society starting from the Head of the RW, the Head of the RT, Community Leaders, Parents and Children and Youth, which in this case became the main focus. The results of the research from the data obtained show: Factors that teenagers in Mekarbaru village Alamendah Village are not interested in continuing their education to college level can be divided into Economic Factors which can be said to be prosperous making teenagers not interested in higher school, low parental education , lack of support from parents for education.
